Brussels, Belgium: Christian Marolt, European Chairman of the Organising Committee "Pro Europe" today announced the Members of the Ball Committee 2010 for the Vienna Europaball.

Dr. Michaela Weblacher, top manager at Biomedica Group and former Ball President in Velden has been elected by the Organising Committee "Pro Europe" to become the Ball President 2010 in Vienna. Ms Weblacher works in the healthcare field and is responsible for the pan-European key markets of Biomedica Medizinproduke. Ms Weblacher was extremely honored about her appointment of this first-time event and is looking forward to an exciting evening on 29 May 2010.

Mr Marolt proudly announced as well the Vice Presidents who have accepted to support Ms Weblacher in her duties as President:
- GD Prof. Reinhart Gausterer from the Austrian State Printing House;
- HCC Mag. Dr. Sabine Schauer from Henkel Central Eastern Europe;
- GF Dr. Andrea KDOLSKY from PwC PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr Marolt has expressed his particular excitement to welcome
- BGM Mag. Marion Pelzel from Estèe Lauder as Vice President. Ms Pelzel was already in the 90ties actively involved in the organisation of this charity event.

In her first official statement as Ball President Vienna 2010 Dr Weblacher has told the press that she is very excited to be actively involved in the first Europaball in Vienna, "Such an event with such great spirit and mindset was badly needed in Vienna. I am sure that the Europaball will become an important fixture in the Vienna social calendar."
